blenheim restaurant
The Blenheim Restaurant used to be located in the west village neighborhood of NYC prior to the pandemic. Now the team operates the farm and events spaces in the Catskills in Upstate New York.
The Michelin Review:
"When a restaurant sources ingredients from its own farm in the Catskills, it clearly takes its farm-to-table ethos to heart. Even the decor here at Blenheim reflects this philosophy by way of distressed wood paneling and a style that is far more country-cool than precious. Service is eager and just as committed to the chef's mission of presenting pure ingredients with progressive elegance.
There may be no more genuine expression of this kitchen than the farm eggs, their yolk bright orange and fresh, set beside gently charred slices of hangar steak and fork-tender fingerlings..."

The hands-on approach doesnβt end there: Morten, who had a previous career in design, is also the mind behind the design, right down to the handcrafted furniture. He juxtaposes simplified modern lines with antique details that establish a refreshed sense of a pastoral retreat.
Housed in a historic barn in the Catskills, the restaurant balances the aesthetic on clean, minimalist lines interrupted by custom pieces Morten created. The moss green cement tables bordered with copper, for instance, were designed by Morten, who built them puzzleΒ-like to be grouped together or apart. Chairs are adorned in bright materials, as well as cozy barn furniture that looks out of floor-to-ceiling windows.

Many pieces throughout the restaurant were customized and created by the owners. The hanging lamps in the Tool Shed were actually old milk jugs found in the forest among the sugar maples of Blenheim Hill Farm. The previous generation of farmers had used them for target practice, which explains the holes in the jugs.
